“We learn from history that we learn nothing from history”- who said this? What is the sense behind it? Explain with five examples in the context of history of India.

“આપણે ઇતિહાસમાંથી બસ એટલું શીખ્યા છીએ કે આપણે ઇતિહાસમાંથી કશું શીખતા નથી” કોણ કહે છે? તેનું હાર્દ શું છે? ભારતના ઇતિહાસના સંદર્ભમાં ઉદાહરણો સાથે સમજાવો.

“The History of Gujarat is marked with footsteps in each age from Ancient Vedic times till Medieval and Modern times.” Evaluate in terms of the geographical and cultural potential of Gujarat.

“ગુજરાતના ઇતિહાસમાં પ્રાચીન વૈદિક યુગથી શરૂ કરી મધ્યયુગીન અને આધુનિક ઇતિહાસની પદછાપ અંકિત થયેલી છે”. વિધાનને ગુજરાતની ભૌગોલિક અને સાંસ્કૃતિક સંભાવનાના સંદર્ભમાં મૂલવો.

“Gujarat owes its peace, harmony and modern outlook to the critical roles played by reformer writers and poets bringing new light of equality and social justice”. Do you agree? Why? Explain the contribution by any five of the leading creators of Eighteenth Century till Independence.

Examine- “Mahagujarat Andolan was truly a mass movement”. What were the distinctive features of this movement? Can you compare it with the features of the Independence movement of India?

Analyze - 'India’s Independence movement was more than a freedom struggle. It was directed to awaken national spirit, bring social harmony, economic independence and build a great Nation.' Illustrate with examples the impact of any five movements alongside the freedom struggle.

“What we know about our history is but for the pilgrim places, temples, traditions and architectural genius of our forefathers”- explain these four signatures with relevant examples of history of Gujarat.

“If you know a country’s geography, you can understand and predict its foreign policy”- Examine the impact of geographical features of India on India's foreign policy and foreign trade policy.

“જો તમે કોઇ દેશની ભૂગોળ જાણતા હશો તો તેની વિદેશનીતિને સમજી શકશો અને અનુમાન કરી શકશો”. ભારતની ભૌગોલિક લાક્ષણિકતાઓની ભારતની વિદેશનીતિ તથા વિદેશ વેપારનીતિ પર અસર તપાસો.

Examine the impact of Migration as a challenge for ease of living in Urban centers and suggest a win-win model both for economic development and a healthy civic life.

શહેરી સ્થળાંતર દ્વારા ઉદ્ભવતી જીવનની સુખાકારીની સમસ્યાઓને તપાસો અને આર્થિક વિકાસ સાથે આરોગ્યમય નાગરિક જીવન અંગે ઉભયપક્ષી સકારાત્મક મોડેલ સૂચવો.
